Google Drive displays deleted files

Postby Calisson » 25 Dec 2016 21:07

This is a minor quirk, but it puzzles me. I uploaded a bunch of video files into one folder in my Google Drive. When I first installed VLC for iOS I logged onto Google Drive (Cloud Services) and could see all those files. Later I decided I did not need all of them and deleted all but four from my Google Drive. However, whenever I open VLC for iOs and access Google Drive, all the old (since deleted) files are still there. I tried logging out of Google Drive on VLC for iOs and logging back in again, but it still "sees" deleted files. Any thoughts about this (admittedly trivial) mystery?

I was having this same "issue" & created an account here to let you know that it appears that VLC player for iOS reads the google drive trash folder & displays those files. If you empty the GDrive trash folder you should find that those deleted files are gone from VLC player.
