Edit audio metadata?

Is there a way, in VLC, to edit audio metadata? For example, in the four CD Woodstock album, Arlo Guthry shows up as two different artists, both showing "Arlo Guthry". The answer is to sort out the metadata.

Under Windows, window explorer makes this possible. PlayerPro supports this, too. And VLC does...? :)

Not for now, and we may face some permission issues (e.g. if your media is on a SD card, we cannot write on it)

Well, there are well known patches to enable SD access. IMHO, I'd move support meta-data editing and let users opt to use their SD's or not.
