checking ffmpeg/avcodec.h usability... no
checking ffmpeg/avcodec.h presence... no
checking for ffmpeg/avcodec.h... no
configure: error: Missing header file ffmpeg/avcodec.h.

(my system is suse 9.3)

get ffmpeg from http://ffmpeg.sf.net

Hi ,

Chk those files present in ur system ... if it then copy those files to /usr/lib then try configure option

All the best ....
