multiple movies on one DVD

Postby Phoenicis » 28 Oct 2016 02:45

Is VLC capable of copying multiple movies from one disk to multiple MP4s?

running 2.2.4 weathermax

I have a DVD with two movies on it, I'm trying to get both of them but I can only seem to get the second one, another has three movies on it, but I haven't even attempted that one yet.

Any advice will be appreciated.

VLC does not burn optimal media, so the question does not make a whole lot of sense.

As for space constraints, it depends on the codec and quality, so hard to say.

perhaps I explained myself wrong.

I have a DVD with two movies on it.
I want two separate MP4 files, one for each movie.

To date i cannot seem to get the first movie. I can get the second one easily enough.

if I use the convert/save option on the whole disk it apparently converts one movie, then overwrites that file with the second movie.
