Can't get the Tunein script to work

I've downloaded the lua script for Tunein radio and followed the installation instruction but can't get it to work. Not all the instructions were clear, such as when I enter the username and password in the lua file do I keep the quotes around the name and password?

I have VLC 2.1.6 installed on Ubuntu 13.10 LTS.
