VLC app wont open without Wifi connection

Hi All,

Just recently started having problems with the VLC app on kindle fire tablet that was bought to play shows for my daughter when we're out.

This past day or so when trying to open the app from a child account it keeps saying that it needs a wifi connection and aeroplane mode to be turned off, but before this there was no issue with having wifi off and aeroplane mode on, it'll also show an x in the bottom corner of the app and when clicking the app it'll say that it needs to download. I'm not sure what its downloading as it is the latest version. This still wont let me in on the child account as it just seems to crash when downloading and wont let me in.

I can change to the full main profile and have wifi off and aeroplane mode on and have no issues with running the app. This is annoying as seemingly it works for one profile but not the other that its intended for with all the child restrictions activated.

Any help much appreciated.
