Videos fail to open full screen

With VLC configured to always open full screen, only the first video played opens full screen, subsequent ones do not. Problem began with update to 2.2.4. For now, I have rolled back to 2.2.1 which does not exhibit this problem. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

There is a way for you to play your videos full screen. Go to Tools and select Preferences, when your on preferences, click the icon on the page with the word video under it. From there, click the Enable Video box, and under the display area, click the Fullscreen box. When you're all done, click save and restart your VLC, you should be all set.

I have the same problem, but have not rolled back yet. Have already toggled the Fullscreen box off, saved, closed program and toggled it on again...several times. Still the same problem. First file opens fullscreen, every file thereafter opens in a window if I do not close the program after each file

Bonjour Jean Baptiste ...Si je configure la video en "Full screen" comme indiqué plus haut, mon VLC joue bien en full screen, mais je dois à chaque fois reconfigurer ce FS, pour rejouer la video (ou une autre). La fonction Full screen ne semble pas être mémorisée entièrement.Je vais essayer une autre version plus ancienne de vlc (je travaille actuellemnt avec v. 2.2.4 Weatherwax sur Win 8.1 Pro).Merci à l'avance pour ta Réponse.
