USB DVB With VLC

Postby swanside » 03 Jun 2016 10:44

Hi guys and good morning.
What a great forum, I have done a search, but still having problems. I am hoping somebody can help me. I am using VLC Media player 2.2.3 Weatherwax

I have an August DVB-T210 USB Stick.

I run it with its own software and it collects the channels from my local transmitter (Winterhill UK) The frequency is 706Mhz but when I select media>Open Capture Device I set the frequency and nothing happens after that.
Any suggestions please guys?

Try with DVB-T2 and/or try to force the bandwidth setting to 8.
Or there might be a tuning space issue. Make sure you are using the latest BDA drivers for your device. IIRC a complete scan with ScanChannelsBDA, or another third party DVB viewer, might fix some tuning space troubles. Reboot your computer when done.

If it still doesn't work then do what Ludrax said.
