CD text displaying incorrectly

(I already posted this in the Windows forum, but I think that was probably the wrong place. This problem likely occurs across operating systems.)

So I'm about to release my first album. I did it through CDBaby, and I just got the CDs in the mail a little over a week ago. I gave one to my friend, who popped it into his work computer and started playing it in VLC. It played fine, but the album artwork and track names were all Serge Gainsbourg. Haha. I tried it on my laptop and it was the same thing.

When I tried it in iTunes, it displayed fine, which must mean it's been added to the Gracenote music database. Now I still need to look into the AllMusic database, but I'm pretty sure that should work, too. What database does VLC use to find CD text? And how do I submit my album to it?
