VLC for Apple TV Keeps quitting

I am using vlc with the SMB setup, and when I first started using it, it worked perfectly. But now it keeps quitting the app (jumping to apple tv main menu) in the middle of watching stuff. Pretty annoying. I don't think I changed any settings or anything. Not sure whats going on but any help would be appreciated

We identified the reason for those crashes in the meantime and will provide a fix in the next update!

Same with me. Annoying is a polite version of what I bear in mind ... As long as this happens the app is completely useless.

Felix, please, specify when the fix will be provided!
