Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 - VLC directshow plugin

Postby vlc-AT-user » 26 Feb 2016 14:31

Hi,

I have a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 and I want to grab a video signal from an HDMI Camera and show live fullscreen on the PC.
Can't get VLC to do this.

just contacted Blackmagic Support. They told me that it is possible, but I need a VLC-plugin to get this work, but there is no official plugin.

Can anybody help?

thanks

Paul

It has been over an year, but last time I used Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle (USB3) in Windows, I used these settings in VLC:

File > Open Capture Device
Video device name: Declink
Audio device name: Declink
Advanced options:
Video input chroma format: UYVY
Audio: 2ch, 48 kHz, 16 bit

(And Intensity Shuttle still does not work in Linux. Very disappointed and thinking of avoiding all Blackmagic products in the future.)
