Dual monitor, separate Spaces, full screen, VLC menu bar problems.

Postby vvvvlllllccccc » 07 Feb 2016 06:58

Situation:
OS version is El Capitan.
I have two monitors, monitor0 and monitor1.
Displays have separate Spaces.
monitor0 is the default monitor showing the Dock.
VLC is full screen on monitor1.

The problem:
When VLC is focused, the menu bar and the Dock disappears on monitor0.
If I click another app on monitor0. VLC shows menu bar.
Is there any way to make VLC not to show menu bar when another app is focused on monitor0?

This is not VLCs fault, but from Mac OS X, so please complain to Apple. They are still not able to correctly support multiple monitors with their native fullscreen feature.

You can try VLCs build in fullscreen (change it in simple preferences), maybe that works better for you.
