Displaying subtitles when changing position in a paused state

Hi.

I've noticed VLC doesn't show subtitles when it's paused and I seek to a new position. Then, when I resume playback, it displays them again.
It applies to the VLC player itself and libvlc I use in my project. So is there a way to change this behaviour somehow? Maybe some flags or parameters?
