Can't record RTSP stream from console

I am searching a command that records a RTSP stream. According to the VLC documentation, I have tried this:

vlc.exe -vvv rtsp://admin2@192.168.1.55:88/videoMain --sout=file/ps:myrecord.mpg

but it just opens VLC. I don't know what else can I try.
