UPNP playback from Skippa PVR

Postby stretch4x4 » 01 Oct 2015 17:23

Hi all,

Just not a new PVR SKIPPA by IceTV (http://skippa.tv/) which has a DLNA server (Hardware is possibly the same as an Altech 9600). I have managed to get Kodi to connect to it, view my recordings and stream them which is cool but now I want to try and get it working in VLC because I don't want a full blown media center just for playback.

Seeing as UPNP didn't seem to be working in vlc 2.2.1, I tried vlc-3.0.0-git-20151001-0402-win64.zip

I managed to find the PVR which was good but it can't seem to find the files.
See log: http://pastebin.com/a53YfbDb

The browse command doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas what I can do to make this work? If I look at the Kodi logs I can see where it starts playing a specific file and VLC can play that back fine. So it's just the discovery that seems broken.

Cheers
