Have you tried going to folder options?

open up any explorer window for example "c:\" click on tools->folder options
->file types

Good luck,

no i mean the mozilla firefox plugin, not the actual windows file assocaiations, if you open firefox and type "about:plugins" it'll show you what videoLAN is associated w/ via websites. was curious if there was a way to add and remove things.
