Cannot open 'folders' or 'grouped' episodes...

Ipad mini 2 all up to date

I load 1 file, displays and play perfectly
The same if I load 2...
Load 3 however and vlc starts to group them, I cannot open or play anything in the group.
Touching the group sometimes produces 'shuddering'
The Edit button on the top right has no action either when I touch it.

After about an hour of playing with it and searching on the internet I ready to put this thing through the wall! wtf man.

Please help!!!
