I want to watch a video at 1.25 speed but when I click the button "Faster" the speed goes to 1.50.
How can I make the playback speed increment to .25 instead of .50? Because I don't want to press the [ or ] key every time.
I have VLC 2.1.5 and Windows 8

Use the status bar (view menu) and change the speed slider.
