Playing low resolution video

Postby mistermandje » 13 Jul 2015 10:04

I want to play a low resolution video (20 x 60 pixels) full screen with the VLC Media Player. More specifically, I want to play the video as is, so without any filtering/enhancements that will make the video look smoother than it actually is. It will probably look lousy with large squares and all, I know, but that's exactly what I'd like to achieve. I've tried various players, and various settings of VLC Media Player, but somehow I always end up with a smoothened, edgeless video (I have a screenshot, but don't know how to attach it  ).

Does anybody know if it is possible to achieve this effect, and if so, which settings I have to apply?
