Hauppauge PVR-350 no sound when streaming fix

Hi

I had been having trouble getting sound under winXP when streaming live TV from my PVR-350. The video would display fine, but I would always get no audio (locally and on clients).

I finally found a solution with a program called wintv source selector. You can get it here:

This program lets you select the audio source. I set it from "CD passthru" to "TV Audio" and all my troubles were solved.

Hope this works for all you out there who I saw were having the same problem.

Tried this utility with my Leadtek TV2000XP Expert but to no avail. The utility depends on the hauppage drivers being installed and will result in a dll missing error when executed on a machine without the drivers.
