bug?: fullscreen & 2nd monitor

hi

when playing a movie, after going to fullscreen once, the 2nd time i go fullscreen the VLC window goes fullscreen on my 2nd monitor.
also when i then exit fullscreenmode, the player window usually is almost on the (non-existing) 3rd monitor.
only way to get it fullscreen on the first again is to delete the prefs-file, and restart VLC.

VLC, 0.8.2
G4, 2x800Mhz, 1G
