VLC crashes when converting .mp4 to .avi

Postby centraltexan » 23 Jun 2015 17:49

I'm trying to convert 9 .mp4 files to .avi. I have gotten 3 converted but no matter what I do I can't get any more to convert. Sometimes VLC just crashes and sometimes it just sits there and does nothing. I am running Windows XP SP3. I started the day with VLC 2.1.5 and when I encountered the crashes, I upgraded to 2.2.1 but got the same results. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Where did you get these mp4 files? I would say you should try a professional video converter to handle the video converting process, and some video converters like Pavtube can batch multiple conversions at the same time, quite convenient.
