Problems with Ipad and VLC

I have an I pad 3 (64gb) and sometimes it crashes and does not show the videos at all, even if they show as uploaded. Some work fine, some don't. How do I fix this? Right now it crashes all the time.

I de-installed it now and reinstalled it and it works now, also , I deleted some files I have already watched. Does this solve the problem in general or is there more to do?
