Pleas add new features!

Postby upor » 23 Apr 2015 00:28

I use Android OS smartphone, I found an interesting application: iMediaShare. The application sends multimedia content directly to your TV for content sharing protocol used Anynet + or HDMI-CEC standard. Such a feature would be very welcome in VLC player, including the streaming of the desktop. (screen mirroring)

This is out of scope for VLC and AnyNet is a proprietary extension from Samsung.

Hello,

as I know AnyNet + it is basically the HDMI CEC. IMediaShare application to use protocol-based HDMI over Ethernet. I successfully tested the app on Samsung TV, Philips TV, Sony BRAVIA TV, LG Smart TV ..... If possible, please refer to how the application works and use it to upgrade the new features of VLC player.

Greetings.

1. Poster - it is VERY annoying to read a subject that says" Please add new feature" or "request" etc with NO DESCRIPTION IN THE TITLE. Next time put something in the title - PLEASE.

2. Any possibility of DLNA if that would be applicable instead?
