how to stop "playing" images in playlist

Postby simplemind » 21 Sep 2005 12:40

In some MP3-Folders I also have Images (e.g. scans from the cover), but i don't want them to be played! VLC stopps playing the music and displays the Images for a few seconds. How do i stop that?

open the playlist.. pick out the images(use multi-select hold [ctrl]).. press [del] ete key..

you could then save the contents as a playlist if you want.. -so you will not have to remove the images there each time you open the folder.

Or someone could fix the directory module to also support the ignore option under windows. :D

Thanks for the replys.

Removing all the images - i would never ever get such a brilliant idea myself ;)
It must be possible to just add one special file format (*.mp3), for i don't need all the other files also listed in my music-folder (lyrics, images, some music-videostuff).

Any idea anyone?

I made a patch to *kind of* fix this...
