The first disc in the Australian DVD Edition of Transformers Remastered contains both a Play All and a Bonus Feature that plays the first episode with a commentary track.
They both use the same cells and each look to have had the audio track selection disabled to prevent switching to the other versions audio track during playback.
However, the audio track for the commentary simply ends (terminates) at the end of the first episode.
I've ripped this disc with MakeMKV into a Matroska Container and when playing back that MKV the moment the VLC progresses to the second episode it goes ballistic and looks to start desperately searching through the file for the non existent rest of the track (even when that track isn't the one currently playing).
I just played the original DVD using VLC and apparently whatever method the manufacturers used to disable track selection hasn't been implemented in VLC. If I watch the Play All using it's designated audio track everything works fine, once it reaches the second episode it just continues as normal, ignoring the fact that the second audio stream has just ended. However, if I play the Play All back using the commentary track, once it reaches the second episode and the audio track ends it keeps repeating the last few seconds of sound over and over again.
I'm not sure what my point is, but there you go.
