Cannot really get VLC to tablet screen...

Hello JB

Downloaded VLC fro one of the mirrors on the videolan.org website and installed VLC

When I activate vlc on the tablet, all I get (every time) I get a white page, with an orange strip on top, with the cone and the letters VLC next to it, in the left corner of that strip.

Nothing else just that white empty page with the orange part at the top end. It does not react to anything, except return to homepage of the tablet...

What went wrong?
