I'm using VLC on Windows 7, and I often use a remote-control app (through the lua interface) on my smartphone to interact with the program. Sometimes I start the program using a daemon or using a VNC client, and the desktop retains the focus. When I then use the remote-control app to switch to fullscreen, the taskbar remains on-top, and I have to turn VNC back on and click on the video in order to hide the taskbar, then kill the VNC process from the daemon. It would be awesome if VLC would simply grab the focus upon entering fullscreen mode, since I can't think of a case where that wouldn't be the desired behavior.
