Video only window with rc

Postby merik » 17 Sep 2005 03:27

Hello

I am trying to get vlc to present a rc only interface. I have got that going fine with the --rc-quiet option but I can'y stop the windows GUI from appearing.

What I need is a video window only with no decorations at all, no menus, no nothing.

Using video-x, video-y to place the screen and toggle between overlay window and full screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

MK

oh right, yes..

I think you should look into the source code for a solution.. perhaps you are looking for some of the functionality provided by the ActiveX control.

a windowless window? use the force.. i mean source..

you can't do what I think you are talking about by merely changing a few settings in vlc.. you will have to go beyond the current given functionality.
