imem audio AND video

hi,
I would like to use the "imem" module to pass data directly to VLC.
The problem is that I need to pass both audio and video through "imem" but do not know how to specify both (--imem-cat = 1 or --imem-cat = 2).
I need to specify two different callbacks?
How can I pass directly to VLC both the audio and video using "imem"?

I'm not sure it's even possible. imem is only a proof-of-concept so far.
