Forced Subtitles

Is there any type of fix for this. It's really annoying when watching a DVD, and scene goes into another language and I have to go back and turn on the subtitles each time that happens. Are there any plans to address this? Funny thing is, I was watching A Million Ways to Die in the West, and a scene came on in another language, and subtitles appeared like normal. Then I watch X-Men: Days of Future Past, and I miss information in most of a scene because no subtitles came on and had to go back and turn them on and watch it again. I really love using VLC, it gets the best picture with DVDs, but this is a real black mark on the program in my opinion.
