Need for show current time

Hi
I make PC for office presentation to big display.
This PC working on Slackware Linux, autorun VLC player inside TWM to fullscreen.

I need add on screen (more then one video played) current time (as office wall clock).
I found Time extension, but i can't auto-enabled this extension.
Please help with suggestion!

Marquee filter with time expansions:
Tools > Effects and Filters > Video Effects tab > Overlay > [v] Add text, Text [%H:%M:%S]
Tools > Preferences > Show settings = All > Video \ Subtitles/OSD \ Marquee
