NVidia GPU transcode

Postby win1234 » 05 Nov 2014 19:51

How can I use NVidia GPU for transcoding? For Intel Quick Sync I wrote #transcode{venc=qsv}. But what I must write at transcode line for nvidia? (use last version of vlc)
Please help me.
Thanks!

NvEnc is not implemented in VLC yet.

So sad :(
Are there any plans to implement in next versions? Really need the support of NvEnc

We cannot plan what the community does or does not do. If you need this, you should write the code yourself or hire someone to do so.

Will the support for Intel Quick Sync encoder come back in the next release, because in 2.1.5 I cannot see the option anymore. The 2.1.3 is the last version with qsv.
