Sorenson Media keys

I have *.mov video files protected with Sorenson Media keys. The video codec is SVQ-3, Sorenson Video v3. The files can be viewed with QT, which provides a method of entering the Media keys. VLC can't display this video, it's just black. Is there some way to enter Sorenson Media keys in VLC? I'm a movie translator, and I rely on VLC as the best tool for this.
