Radio playlist

Postby morice » 04 Oct 2014 23:13

Hello,

I use a playlist for radio streaming, this kind of list (Without the space after "http"):

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0,Psychedelik Ambiant
http ://195.154.166.226:8002/
#EXTINF:0,Psychedelik Live
http ://195.154.166.226:8020/
#EXTINF:0,Psychedelik Progressive
http ://195.154.166.226:8010/
#EXTINF:0,Psychedelik Psytrance
http ://195.154.166.226:8000/
#EXTINF:0,PsyRadio Alternative
http ://komplex2.psyradio.org:8040/

I can hear a radio when i clic on it, but the displayed name change in the list, till i quit VLC.
Is there a way to avoid this?

Thanks.

Because metadata tags from media files and other media streams rules in VLC.
Preferring of titles from your custom playlist is another good reason for an option to "disable" metadata tag titles parsed from files/streams in VLC playlist. There is the feature request with gathered reasons and opinions at https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=120417
