Playing CDs without spaces

This is especially evident while playing live music.

I have a PC running Fedora 20 as a Media Player (CD Player, FLAC, MP3) player hooked to my stereo so I can play files, and CDs. When I play CDs where there is no space between tracks it is especially evident, there is a split second pause between tracks. I was wondering if there is a setting where I can at least minimize, if not eliminate the pause.

It is bearable, but I am a purist (and perfectionist) and was wondering if I could eliminate this.

I don't think it is the PC as the performance playing all kinds of tracks is good.
