I'm running VLC 0.8.2 on DragonFlyBSD.
I am playing an OGG stream, specifically: http://oc.ormgas.com/stream.pls?stream=80
Each time the track changes, it will play for a second, then pause for a second while refreshing the track information, then resume playing. This does not occur on other media players, such as XMMS.
Has anyone else observed this effect, and what is causing it? What can be done about it?
