Not working anymore with ubuntu

Postby VolcoMz » 01 Sep 2005 23:57

Hi there,

For info, I've an AMD 64bits..

I've installed VLC with an apt-get install, it was working very fine untill a new update from unbuntu64...

Now it doesn't even find a package called VLC in the apt-get.. In synaptic, it tells me :

Depends : dbus-1 but must not be installed
Depends : libhal0 but must not be installed
Depends : wxvlc but must not be installed

I've already dbus, and installing dbus-1 will uninstall dbus...

Well, can't get VLC working anymore, and missing it so much ;)

Thanks for your help,
Nicolas.

hi,

vlc is broken in breezy. It is due to some non-intel gcc magic failing in lib-modplug0, with the upgrade to gcc 4.0
