"You do not have permission to view it's contents"

Postby CDNBC250 » 16 Apr 2014 07:38

Ok, so I just tried to add some new episode of one of my favourite TV shows, after deleting the entire last seasons 10 episodes off my iPad. When trying to add the two new episodes, I was told they could not be added because I "did not have permission to view its contents".

I'm the only user on my windows-based PC, my user account is the only account and is therefore the administrative account on the computer. Why is this message popping up and how do I fix the issue?

I apologize in advance if this issue had been addressed somewhere else in the forum, I'm just tired and new to the forum, and I just want help with a solution as opposed to sifting through messages for hours.

Many thanks in advance.

And of course, Hi! I'm new here!

:P

Same applies to Mac. I'm running OSX 10.9, most recent version of iTunes, app updates set to automatically in the background. No problem with the VLC iOS app till the most recent update.
