Persistent setting for audio/video sync

Postby nu11 » 13 Apr 2014 08:13

There is something about my system (not VLC related) that makes sound have a consistent 200ms delay.

The "Tools -> Track Synchronization" fixes this nicely, however this setting is only temporary. Is there some way to make this value persistent, so that it stays every time VLC is launched?

I'm having the same problem. Did you ever have any luck?

I'm using the Mac version but I believe this should apply on all platforms.

Go to your Preferences/Options -> Show All -> Audio

Find the field for "Audio desynchronization compensation and enter in 200.

Save. Start a video and it should already be 200 ms delayed.
