streaming a single channel of a dvb-t multiplex

Postby fullhd_fan » 31 Mar 2014 23:16

Hi !

I cannot stream a single channel of an dvb-t multiplex over http using Windows GUI.
I have tried to add :program to "Edit options" line in the "Capture device" window, but
it doesn't work. If i chose transcoding, i assume that all channels are transcoded because
cpu load is 100% (for a single channel would be much less - when i stream my webcam with
the same transcoding parameters it needs only 10-20 % cpu load) .If transcoding is not used,
when the streamed adress is openned VLC displays all channels of the multiplex in separate windows.

Can you add an option like "Enter program/service ID" under "bandwidth option" in the next
VLC update ?

Something is unclear to me. Whatever option i choose (dvb-t,-c -s -t2, etc.) when
clicking "advanced options" button, the same options are always displayed, some of them have
nothing to do with the chosen "delivery system" (for ex. some dvb-t2 and satellite parameters
when chosing dvb-t) .

My dvb-t tuner has a DAB capability also. Will VLC offer support for it in the near future ?

Thanks.
