Hello,
I use the vlc player occasionally but or maybe therefore I'm very sensitive to interface changes.
I couldn't update from v2.0.8 because the minimal player width after program start was not as before. v2.1.3 seems to have fixed this problem, finally.
But I recognized a new "bug" in v2.1.3 which forces me to stick with v2.0.8 some more.
Some developer apparently thought it would be funny (or even thought it would be a good idea!?) to change the hotkey for "playlist" from "l" to "ctrl+l". Well, it his damn right to do whatever he wants to, but at least he could leave the user the option to change it back to how it was all those years before.
By now I haven't found "playlist" in the hotkey section of the settings or a .ini (or .nsi or any other) file or a registry entry to change that hotkey back. I also checked some .h, .js, .dtd, .cfg files. And of course hotkeys.luac but that one seems to be coded or encrypted so I can't read or mess with that one unsing simply a text editor. And, of course, I searched for "hotkey playlist" in the forum but couldn't find anything useful. That's why I wrote this post.
I'm using the 64bit portable version on W7. Is there any way I could get to change the hotkey for "playlist"?
Thanks for any helpful hint!
Cheers,
Mike
