Hi,
I'm using the latest ios version of VLC on my ipad 2. When I'm trying to download from https url I got the following error:
Address scheme not supported
The address scheme(https) is not supported, please use an address starting with HTTP,HTTPS or FTP.
Please contact me if you need more details about this issue.

Yep, this is a known issue. I'm working on a fix!
