Bass, Treb and a Car Stereo

Postby Kaldelar » 18 Feb 2014 20:26

S'up nation ;)

So on my long drives to and from work, I usually plug in my phone to my car stereo (AUX cable) and listen to music. Now, when I do this, I have only three real options to adjust the effects of the music: Bass, Tre (which I assume is treble) and Volume. Bass and Tre can only reach 7, which is the limit, so I max those and turn up the volume... and the music that comes out is just richer: I hear the beats and tones I miss before that.

So, naturally, I try and do this with my desktop as well, but when I raise the bass and treble (second and final sliders under the Effects), it sounds nothing like it. Yes, there's definitely more bass, but it's so thick that it's too much. I was just curious if anyone else has noticed this and found a workaround?

(or, gods forbid, a new soundcard <.<)
