Audio pitch changes

Postby Syncopator » 25 Nov 2013 18:18

I searched for "pitch changes" and read the entries. None of them seem to have received an explanation or a suggested solution.

Here's what I have just disccovered in version 2.1.1

Playing music or voice is fine, but when I play a series of single frequency tones (Morse actually), after about 6 seconds the pitch slowly, over 3 or 4 seconds, drops a little. After a further 10 seconds or so it returns to normal, again over 3 or 4 seconds.

This doesn't happen in Windows Media PLayer, RealPlayer, Audacity, Total Recorder or CoolEdit Pro.

Since, as I say, I don't notice any pitch change when playing polyphonic files, it isn't, perhaps, important. But it is, nevertheless, a fault which the developer/s might like to look into.
