Audio delay when resuming playback

Hi,


I'm currently using VLC 2.2.0, and I've noticed that when I resume playback of any video file (doesn't matter on the format), the video plays for a few seconds before the audio resumes. The audio is still in sync, but there is missed audio every time I resume playback, which is annoying. Is this expected, and if not how can I fix it?

Is there any update on this? I've been experiencing this on VLC for iOS since I first downloaded the app back in the fall...
