Startup

Postby anuswara » 01 Nov 2013 18:26

Hi,

I would ask to you, if you noticed that vlc 2.1.0 requires a lot of time for the first opening.

This happended with a previous version (i dont remember the build) then all was ok.

Am i the only user which noticed this behaviour on 2 PCs ?

can you fix this in 2.1.1 exactly as you did wih the previous build, 6 months ago?

thanks.

(PS: this is not a bug in my OS ;)

If installed with the installer, starting VLC should takes less than 1 second.

ok, with 2.1.2 only 2 seconds to open the application.

3,5 sec.to open a video file. good.

(gpu acceleration to be fixed, gtx 650: better turned off, no issue with other sw on the same machine, quadcore; tried on core i5 too. gpu acceleration should be fixed).
