How to keep VLC in fullscreen when switching streams

Hi,

Is there any settings I have not found that would help me to keep movies in fullscreen when I go through video streams in m3u playlist/IPTV. Probably it jumps ouf of fullscreen when next stream has different screen ratio. 4:3 to 16:9.
It disturbs very very much when fullscreen is sent to TV screen because it is all the time falling back to main MacBook stream and has to be again sent back.

Is this still an issue in version 2.1.0 available from www.videolan.org ? note that this update isn't available through VLC's internal updater yet.
