Disabling all AV processing before playback

Postby manuas » 05 Aug 2013 10:53

Hi,

I want to know when we play any video using a VLC player, if any video processing is enabled by default before the actual playback.
If some processing is enabled, please let me know how to disable any processing.
The idea is to play the video as is without either improving or degrading the quality.

Regards,
Manu

AFAIK by default any post processing is disabled.

There is no postprocessing from VLC by default. There may be postprocessing by your display drivers in some cases, but VLC developers would not know about it.
