Few days ago I have updated my VLC media player on Dell Inspiron-560 desktop to 2.0.7 version.
When I played AVI video file with SRT russian subtitles the program started reading them aloud.
So, I had both text-to-speech reading (men's voice) and display of all subtitles.
Then I had updated my VLC media player to 2.0.7 on my Acer netbook, model Aspire One 722-BZ197.
This netbook has an HDMI output, so it can be connected to TV.
I played the same AVI video file with same SRT subtitles and had no reading, just display of subtitles.
I checked preferences settings on both computers and could not identify any differences.
If anyone could help me to resolve this concern I greatly appreciate it.
